Delete your account

This page explains how to request deletion of your HypUp account and associated data. Use this page if you installed HypUp from Google Play, the App Store, or the web.
In-app account deletion is not available yet. Email is the current request path.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to support@cuetheory.ai from the same email address you use to sign in to HypUp.
- Use the subject line: Delete my HypUp account.
- Include your HypUp username (if you have one) so we can match the account.
- We may ask you to confirm that you control the account before we delete it.
We will process verified requests and delete or de-identify associated personal data within a reasonable period (typically within 30 days), except where retention is required as described below.

Data we delete
When we complete a verified deletion request, we delete or de-identify:
- Your account and sign-in credentials (email, hashed password)
- Profile information (name, username, date of birth, bio, profile photo)
- Passions and related preferences
- Moments you uploaded (photos, videos, captions) and related AI analysis records
- Comments, likes (hypes), tags, and similar engagement you created
- Friendships, follows, blocks, and other social-graph records for your account
- Plays / Tracks you created (and your progress on Plays)
- Push notification tokens and session tokens for your account
- Daily usage activity records (the days you were active and the activities you engaged with)
- Coach or academy membership records tied only to your account, where applicable
Data we may keep for a limited time
We may retain limited information after deletion:

We do not keep your account active or use remaining data to provide the Service after deletion is complete.
